My church asked me to take some photos for their web site, these are a few that I liked in particular. All are infrared, taken with my modified Fuji, with the exception of the last one taken with my Canon.
Took a trip to Florida to visit friends and see the new Harry Potter park. I was trying out LensRentals.com, rented a Tamron 28-300mm lens, and a Sigma 50-500mm lens.
The Tamron was nice, because of the range, and I didn't need to swap lenses. The quality was not as good as Canon 28-135 or 70-300 lenses, by a noticeable amount, but it just may have made up for it by not having to keep swapping lenses. The image stabilizer was wonderful, too.
The Sigma 50-500mm was wonderful. No complaints at all. Great image, great stabilizer, all the way out to 500mm. Not as friendly as the 28-300mm because of weight and size.
This is a family from my church. Their youngest, Rhett, was born with a condition which gives him a life expectancy of only several months. Our prayers and thoughts are with Rhett, and his loving family.
